PLAY OR PAY: Quick Update

My latest thriller PAY OR PLAY now is available for pre-order on all the Ebook platforms, and at my personal online store here.

I know many of y’all prefer paperback books–and those will release on November 3rd. I’ve not yet figured out a way to do pre-orders with the physical books, but if I do, you’ll be the first to know! The book has been uploaded to Amazon for a paperback and a hardcover version. In its infinite wisdom, Amazon makes the sales page “invisible” until the on-sale date. I’ve also uploaded the book to Ingram (they distribute to libraries) and in the past, they’ve made “pre-order” paperbacks available. So paws crossed…

Meanwhile, I’ve a whole team of folks reading the ARC (advance reader copies) in exchange for catching any missed typos and later posting honest reviews. Y’all ROCK!

Meanwhile, I’ve begun recording the audiobook, yee-haw! It takes longer than usual, because of all the new building projects near our house. The audio microphones pick up even an airplane overhead, or the AC clicking on. The tech gurus edit out the worst offenders, but I must take care to keep the recording as free of extraneous noise as possible (including stomach rumbles). It usually takes me a solid 3 weeks to record and edit, before sending the audiofiles to my tech guru for finishing up.

So that’s my update. I’m nearing the finish line…and can’t wait to learn what all my faithful readers think of September and Shadow’s latest adventure–and potential future shenanigans. Yes, I’m already “plotting” the next, book #9. *s*

Oh, I almost forgot… Several readers have asked about LARGE PRINT BOOKS. What say you? Do you prefer them, or know someone who does? I think mostly libraries like them…but I’m researching now how to make the series available in large print.

do you know of a good guide or reference for training a dog to become a hospital/ nursing home/ hospice visitor?
