A brief peek into this writer’s life…with this newsletter update., For many years I’ve used AWeber to deliver furry-licious blog post message to my Thrillers Readers and Dog/Cat Lovers newsletters. Once a week, the latest posts automatically get sent to all my subscribers. I’ve loved using the service–but like many things, companies make changes…
They’ve seen fit to more than double the fees to use the service. Yikes! They charge not only for the number of messages sent, but also by the number of subscribers. That means the more people join the list, the less I’m able to afford to keep in touch.
So over the last couple of weeks, I found a great alternative that doesn’t punish for success. I’ve migrated my email subscribers to a new service that will take over (probably) by the end of January. As with anything new, there may be hiccups along the way, so thanks in advance for patience and understanding.

Nothing much should change for you with this newsletter update–well, you’ll see the above banner, and that’s new. I’m re-creating my “brand” look so the messages to subscribers should look very similar, and the content of course won’t change. I still need to figure out how to recreate the auto-roundup of blogs. There likely will be an option instead to send each new blog post immediately to subscribers.
Once I have all my kitties and puppies and ducks in a row, I’ll post about it here again, with any additional needed information. I just wanted to give y’all a heads up.
In other news–I have begun plotting thriller book #9 (tentatively titled TRICK OR TREAT), yee-haw! No, I don’t have a pub date yet. In fact, I also have very exciting ideas for book #10 (tentatively called SINK OR SWIM) and may try to do a quick release of these next two titles.
I couldn’t have this wonderful, exciting (and sometimes frustrating) writerly life without y’all. So thank you big ol’ bunches of purrs and wags. I so much enjoy receiving notes from you–and the lovely and often touching pictures of your furry wonders.
