Monday Mentions: Thrillers, Hedgehogs & Bats

antique rose

Our roses have just begun to bloom–no, that picture was from last year. There’s another month to go before peak blossom time but I can’t wait. This year promises to be a glorious blooming frenzy (do blossoms frenzy?). As of last Friday the laptop gurus said my computer was FIXED and being shipped home so by the time you read this, I hope to have the laptop back. That means I can sit outside on the patio, amidst all the bloom-icity, while continuing the draft of the next thriller. Yeee-haw!

I want to encourage y’all to subscribe (if you haven’t already) to my PET PEEVES newsletter. There’ll be some extreee-spashun news in the middle of April and it will be announced there first. 🙂

Remember that tonight (and EVERY Monday night!) you can listen and call in with your pet questions on CAT CRAZY radio show.  RLPN-ListenToMyShowOn

Monday Mentions: Thrillers, Hedgehogs & Bats — 9 Comments

  1. I always love your Monday mentions. You’ve got some great links here that I need to check out. And that video of Blossom just melts me heart. There is just something about bats that I love. You had another video on here a while back with a bat… dang, now I might have to go through your archives to find it because that one was super cool, too. Of course, the kitteh meets hedgehog is super sweet. Totally made me smile today! What a great way to start my week thanks Amy! Now, if your blog let’s me leave a comment, it’ll be the best day ever.

  2. Love the vid of Harley and Loki (which makes me giggle because that is what my wife calls me). Our younger female cat, Tillian, looks just like Loki. Such cuteness!

    Thanks for the mention 🙂

  3. Great articles and videos this week. I really enjoyed THE REAL STORY OF INDIE PUBLISHING. The whole world of writing and publishing seems so complicated sometimes. I cannot imagine how much you have learned over the years concerning agents, self-publishing, book rights, publishers, etc. I have always wanted to write a book about my life and family but I would not even know where to start their is so much involved.

    • Hi Patricia, The world of publishing is changing constantly. So what I learned early in my career doesn’t always work these days. But certainly the “new” way of publishing allows many folks to publish that otherwise wouldn’t have had the opportunity.

  4. Thanks for the mention, Amy. I loved those videos though it they didn’t show on the main page for me again. Luckily I can still see them on the comments page.

I had no idea bat tongues were so long!
