Do Pets See In Color?

Is it the color? Or something else that determines “favorites.”

I love this question. What do you think? Today’s Ask Amy topic is Do pets see in color? How do you know?

MagicFrisbeeMagical-Dawg doesn’t seem to have a color preference, nor does Seren-kitty. They both do have preferences for texture of toys, though…or in Seren’s case, texture of a sleeping spot, LOL! I tend to choose deep blue colors for the kitty because it looks so good with her eyes.

Do you have color preferences for your pets’ toys? Does it matter to them? What have I missed in the video, do tell!

  1. I heard recently that dogs do see in color; then I heard that there were some colors they couldn’t see and it was supposed to explain why they couldn’t find toys in the grass. At the time we had an orange Frisbee that was supposed to be camouflaged in the grass, it wasn’t. So, long story short, I don’t know, but I’m going to go with They See Just Fine 🙂
